Biography: Miles and Meg were high school sweethearts. After they got married, Miles became an accountant while Meg was a school teacher. After Miles was murdered, it turned Meg's life upside down.

When the police couldn't solve her husband's murder, Meg started to do some inviestigating of her own. She learned of her husband's shady clients that were doing some very illegal activities. Meg led the police straight to the killer.

Meg began to rethink her career. Soon after she got her private investigator license. She loves her job and how rewarding it can be. She met Ariel the first day Ariel arrived in Chicago and through the past several months she has helped Ariel track down her mother.

When Meg does a bit more investigating into Ariel's family she begins to learn that knowing too much can be dangerous. What happens when Meg shows up in Saunders Bay with information that could turn the Parker's life upside down?
