Biography: Kenneth James was raised to believe in one thing - prayer. As he got older he watched the women parade on the streets in downtown Detroit while he walked home from evening services. He did what he could to help these women by handing them what little money he had. One night though he came upon a stunning blond who captured his heart instantly.

As soon as he could he saved enough money and paid this woman to spend an hour with him. He had helped the lady out when he could before that night and even talked to her at times. That night though, he told her what he could do for her, and she believed him. Pamela Lovett became Pamela James and eight months later, Ali James was born.

Kenneth and Pamela had another child together years later. To get a better life for themselves they moved to Saunders Bay when Ali was eight years old. Kenneth still believes prayer can solve everything and he teaches that to his children day after day.

When his daughter is attacked can he keep her safe by keeping her away from her friends and job. Or will Ali rebell and go against everything she was raised to believe in?
