Biography: April was conceived by an affair Penelope had with the rich and powerful Charles Reed. When he found out Penelope was pregnant with his child, he paid her to leave town before anyone found out. Penelope kept her past a secret from April.

April found out about her siblings and father when Penelope returned to Saunders Bay. Ariel approached the two women and introduced herself to April. April is a lot like her mother in the way that she uses sex to get what she wants. She knows how to take care of herself and can con just about anyone out of anything.

She fell in love with Brandon Ellsworth, a man she was supposed to be conning. When she found out she was pregnant, her mother made her steal fifty thousand dollars from him and skip town. She gave the baby up for adoption and later found out the baby had a heart condition. Since then all the money she had conned out of men went to the parents who adopted her daughter, Cassidy.
