Chapter One:
“I don’t believe we are doing this,” Chloe stated climbing into the Fancy Face 2.

“We are going to have a blast,” Phillip replied wrapping his arms around his girlfriend.

“Remember my rule,” Brady announced. “If I don’t have no one to kiss then you don’t.”

“Come here big brother,” Belle laughed running for her brother.

“Tink, get away,” Brady yelled with Belle chasing him around the dock.

“Be careful guys,” Shawn ordered. “On a board.”

Phillip, Chloe, Brady, Belle, and Shawn climbed into the boat and set a sail towards the unknown waters.
What they didn’t know was an unexpected visitor had climbed abroad when no one was looking hiding
behind some boxes making sure no one could see her. She couldn’t let him leave her. She had this yearning
to be with him. Jan Spears was going to get her hands on the man that she loved- Shawn Douglas Brady.

A half an hour later Chloe and Belle were laying out in the sun in the bikinis while the guys looked out
towards the sea. Brady couldn’t help but glance at Chloe admiring the way her two piece lavender bikini
flattered her luminous figure.

As much as Phillip loved Chloe he would casually look towards Belle cherishing every inch of her small
petite female body. The way her long blond locks curled around her face, those twinkling blue eyes that
sparkled in the sun. Phillip couldn’t help but be turned on.

“How about some music,” Shawn asked his friends turning on the stereo he had bought with him. The music
began to blare through the waters.

**The world was on fire and no one could save me but you.
It's strange what desire will make foolish people do.
I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you.
I never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you.
I don't want to fall in love.
This world is only gonna break your heart
I don't want to fall in love.
This world is only gonna break your heart
With you. With you.
This world is only gonna break your heart
What a wicked game to play, to make me feel this way.
What a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you.
What a wicked thing to say, you never felt this way.
What a wicked thing to do, to make me dream of you and,
I don't want to fall in love.
This world is only gonna break your heart
I don't want to fall in love.
This world is only gonna break your heart
With you.
The world was on fire and no one could save me but you.
It's strange what desire will make foolish people do.
I never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you.
I never dreamed that I'd loose somebody like you no,
I don't want to fall in love.
This world is only gonna break your heart
I don't want to fall in love.
This world is only gonna break your heart
With you. With you.
This world is only gonna break your heart
Nobody loves no one. **

The sweat rolling off of the men feeling the heat from the sun beating down on them and the watching the
two beautiful half naked women laying there in front of them. But who was admiring who.

Suddenly everything stopped hearing a noise from the back of the boat. Shawn came back to reality walking
to the back of the boat getting the surprise of his life.

“What are you doing here,” he asked.

“I had to be with you,” she answered. “I love you, Shawn.”

“But he doesn’t love you,” Belle shouted standing up rushing to her boyfriend.

What was everyone going to do? Who would fall for who? What would Belle do to keep her boyfriend? Would
everyone go after who they desired? Or would they play it safe?

Chapter Two:
“Belle, you are no good for him. You can’t give him what I can,” Jan shouted.

“The scare of his life,” Chloe spitted out.

“I might seem little Miss Perfect, but don’t piss me off, Jan,” Belle admitted.

“She has a fist of fiery,” Brady told Jan.

“Jan, you shouldn’t have come,” Shawn said.

“But I love you,” Jan replied.

“I love Belle,” Shawn admitted before realizing what he had said.

“You what,” everyone else asked.

Belle couldn’t believe what she had heard. It was the first time Shawn had said those words. He had finally
expressed his true feelings for her.

“I think it is time for you to leave,” Belle laughed pushing Jan overboard.

“You bitch,” Jan screamed hitting the water.

“Go Tink,” Brady cheered.

“Great thinking Belle,” Chloe laughed.

“Guys we have problems,” Phillip commented interrupting the cheering.

“No the problem has been thrown overboard,” Chloe replied.

“Look,” Phillip pointed out over the sea the dark clouds. “A storm.”

“Sorry to do this, but I think Jan better join us before she drowns. You don’t want to have her die by our
hands, do you,” Shawn asked Belle.

“Why not? We never asked her to join us. If she does you and I will stay on one side and she will stay on the
other. I give permission to Brady to take care of her,” Belle answered.

“Jan, let me help you,” Shawn said putting his hand out to the young tramp that was holding on to the edge
of the boat.

“No, let me,” Brady ordered pushing Shawn out of the way. “You need to get this boat out of the way of the
storm. Plus you have a girlfriend to take care of.”

Brady helped Jan back onto the boat. She stood there soaking wet her hair drenched shivering from the
water. Brady grabbed a blanket wrapping it around Jan to help her out.

“Shawn, the controls are going crazy,” Belle told him trying to figure out where they were.

“We have no idea where we are,” Phillip said. “The tracking system has gone out. Plus the radio isn’t
working.”

“Oh god,” Chloe murmured.

“I think we are in some serious trouble,” Shawn admitted.

The teens were out in the middle of the sea with a storm about to hit. Would they make it out safely? Would
they turn on another?

Chapter Three
The wind was tossing them everyone through out the sea. Down below the boat Jan was sitting on one side
while Chloe and Belle were sitting on the other.

“I don’t understand why they make us what down here,” Jan snarled.

“If you want go back up to the deck. I am sure you can handle it,” Chloe replied.

“Fine. I can see I am not wanted down here,” Jan stated walking up the stairs holding on tightly to the
railing.

“If only she would take a dive into the ocean for good,” Belle mumbled.

Phillip, Brady, and Shawn were trying to control the steer and the sails, but the wind was too strong.

Jan held onto the railing trying to find Shawn. She needed him. What if something happened to him? The
wind was too strong for her to hold on any longer.

“Shawn,” she yelled finally noticing him through the strong winds and rain.

“Get back downstairs,” he yelled turning around catching Jan trying to get closer to him.

Suddenly he caught the petite blond behind Jan. Out of nowhere the sail flew by hitting both girls into the
water.

“Noooo,” Shawn screamed.

Chapter Four
Ripping off his shirt he jumped in after the girls, but Shawn couldn't save both of them at one time. Jan was
closer to him and Phillip knew that Belle was also in trouble. Phillip shed his shirt jumping in after Shawn
to save Belle's life.

Swimming towards her, Shawn took Jan in his arms taking her back to the boat. Brady helped Shawn lift
Jan onto the boat who wasn't breathing. Performing mouth to mouth for several minutes, putting his lips
onto hers, Shawn breathed air back into her lungs. She coughed up water turning to her side.

"Shawn," Jan cried.

"It's okay, Jan, I am with you," Shawn replied.

"Can someone help me," Phillip yelled from the side of the boat with Belle tangling from his arms.

Looking over at Shawn, Belle caught the closeness of her boyfriend and the girl everyone loved to hate, Jan
Spears. He didn't move from Jan's side.

Minutes later Belle was wrapped up in blankets back below deck with Phillip by her side. Shawn wanted to
keep on eye on Jan above deck making sure she stayed out of the way from the sails and the men.

"Chloe, he saved her before he saved me," Belle stated.

"She was closer," Chloe tried to defend.

"But he loves me," Belle replied.

"You are safe that is all that matters," Brady interrupted coming down to check on his sister.

"Brady is right. You are safe. Any way Shawn would never leave you for Spears. That would be a death
sentence," Chloe laughed.

"I will risk everything to keep Shawn," Belle explained looking upstairs.

Chapter Five
“Shawn, I see something,” Brady yelled from the front of the boat. “Turn 30 degrees to the right.”

“Who is the Captain here,” Shawn shot back.

“Who is older? Now do it,” Brady replied.

Doing as Brady suggested he turned the boat 30 degrees to the right then he noticed what Brady was
talking about. With the rain still coming down and the waves strong, he had to find land and that is exactly
what Brady had done.

Downstairs Belle was sitting next to Chloe wrapped in a blanket. Jan sat on the opposite side of the room
in a corner giving each of them her wicked stare.

“Why did you come,” Belle finally spoke.

“He asked me too,” Jan answered.

“Why would he do that,” Chloe wondered.

“Brady,” Jan replied.

“What about Brady,” Chloe quickly probed.

“You had your own agenda, didn’t you, you little tramp,” Belle shouted.

Suddenly the boat came to a stop lugging all three of them forward. Hearing some screaming on the deck all
three girls ran for the stairs when they noticed the water rushing into the lower deck.

“Guys, were in trouble,” Chloe shouted reaching the top.

“Where’s Belle,” Phillip asked.

“Are you okay,” Brady asked grabbing Chloe.

“We’re sinking,” Belle shouted landing in Phillip’s arms.

“We hit a sandbar. I couldn’t see it,” Shawn explained.

“No explanation, Shawn,” Jan replied running her hand up his arm.

“The only thing we can do is jump,” Phillip suggested grabbing a life jacket.

“The only problem is there are only five life jackets and six of us,” Shawn replied.

“Where is the problem,” Chloe wondered.

The water began to rise faster and the boat began to pick up water on the deck. Everyone grabbed a jacket
leaving one to fight for themselves. They jumped overboard swimming towards the island leaving the Fancy
Face II sinking in the water.

Several minutes later Chloe was laying on the beach breathless from the swim. Brady was laying several
feet away from her finally sitting up from the difficult swim.

“Where is everyone else,” Chloe asked standing over Brady still breathing heavy.

“I thought they were behind you,” Brady answered.

“Belle,” Chloe yelled. “Shawn....Phillip, where are you?”

Farther down the beach two bodies were laying next to each other lifeless. Who were these two? And where
were the others?

Chapter Six
Opening her eyes feeling the rain beat down on her, she sat up feeling nauseous. She didn’t know how she
did it, but she reached land.

“I feel like I got it by a mad truck,” someone on her right side said.

Trying to focus, her eyes stinging still from the water, she caught the male figure next to her. Her eyes
finally becoming clear she recognized his voice and his body.

“Phillip,” she said.

“Belle, are you okay,” he asked. “Don’t move.”

“I’m fine, Phillip. How did we get here?”

“More like where are we?”

“What happened?”

“All I remember is putting a life jacket on right before the boat sank.”

“Shawn, oh my god, what happened to Shawn,” Belle yelled standing up but losing her balance.

“Belle, you don’t have enough energy yet. Let’s sit here a few more minutes then get out of this rain,” Phillip
explained.

“Shawn is out there somewhere,” Belle said trying to stand back up.

Phillip grabbed her arm pulling her back down. She fell on top of him with their mouths just inches apart.
At that moment time stood still for Belle Black and Phillip Kiriakis.

Farther down the beach Chloe and Brady were walking through the forest that covered most of the island.
She grabbed a branch swinging and having it swat Brady in the arm.

“Queen of Jungle, watch out,” Brady yelled. “I said we needed to find shelter not to kill each other.”

“Boys,” Chloe mumbled.

“What was that Ice Princess,” Brady asked. “Boys. I thought you knew I am a men not a boy.”

“In your dreams,” Chloe said swinging another branch his way missing him this time.

“You missed,” Brady stated as another branch came flying his way this one hitting him in the groin.

“No, I didn’t,” Chloe stated stomping away.

Brady laid on the ground covering himself from the sting of the branch while Chloe walked ahead.

“Before this trip is over, I’ll show you just how much a man I am, ” Brady whispered.

On the other side of the island one person was dragging another out of the water.

Who was the lifeless body being dragged out of the water? And would they survive?

Chapter Seven
Their lips moved closer just millimeters apart, suddenly crashing together. Both of their minds were
thinking of what their boyfriend/girlfriend would think, but they couldn’t stop.

“Wait,” he said breaking the kiss lifting her off of him. “I am in love with Chloe.”

“Oh god, Shawn,” Belle began to cry. “He can’t find out.”

“Neither can Chloe,” Phillip replied grabbing her again kissing her.

Pulling the lifeless Shawn Brady out of the water, Jan quickly fell to the ground beginning to give him
mouth to mouth.

“Why do you have to demand that I wear the last life jacket,” Jan asked him before putting her mouth over
his.

Minutes later he finally coughed up the water laying to his side. He couldn’t believe the light he had seen
telling him to go back to her.

“Jan,” he murmured seeing those long curly dark wet locks of hers.

“Don’t speak, Shawn. You are safe that is all that matters,” she said holding him in her lap.

“You saved my life.”

“It was payback for saving mine earlier,” she replied moving his hair out of his eyes.

“What would I do without you,” Shawn said closing his eyes briefly.

Somewhere else on the island, Chloe was pushing her way through the branches an with Brady on her heels.

“Brady, look a cabin,” Chloe yelled.

“No, need to yell, Queen of the Jungle, I am right behind you,” Brady ordered.

“Oops, sorry,” she replied swinging another branch his way.

“Will you stop that,” he demanded.

“Stop playing around back there, come on,” Chloe noted running towards the cabin.

“Wait, Chloe,” Brady screamed right before the rope grabbed her leg swinging her twenty feet in the air
upside down.

“Help, Brady, get me down,” Chloe shouted.

“I told you to wait,” Brady laughed. “See, that is what you get for hitting me with those branches.”

“I was just playing. Now, get me the hell down from here,” she ordered.

“Let me see what I can do,” Brady chuckled.

Would he get her down? Would Belle and Phillip stop each other? Would Jan take the opportunity she had
and use it?

Chapter Eight
“What do you say,” he questioned.

“Brady, now,” Chloe yelled hanging upside twenty feet in the air.

“Those were not the magic words,” Brady replied.

“I am not saying it.”

“Then I am not letting you down,” he said turning away walking up towards the cabin carefully.

“Fine. Brady Black is the sexiest MAN around and I would do anything to have his arms around me, to have
those luscious lips against mine. I am 100% in love with Brady. He is the reason god created man. NOW
LET ME THE HELL DOWN!”

“Now that wasn’t so bad, was it?”

He cut the rope grabbing it quickly to make sure she didn’t fall and hit her head.Once she was on the ground
she untied the rope from her legs and ran towards Brady taking the pocket knife out of his hand.

“If you ever do that to me again, I will make sure that boy of yours is gone for good,” Chloe ordered.

“I wasn’t the one that got hung up. Get it hung up.”

“Brady, let’s go.”

Somewhere else on the island, Shawn and Jan were walking down the beach when he caught a glimpse of a
blue fabric in the sand.

“This is part of Brady’s shirt,” Shawn stated.

“Where could they be,” Jan wondered.

“We need to get out of this rain, maybe they went in the woods looking for shelter.”

“What if they didn’t?”

“Jan, everyone is alive. I know it. I just wish I knew where Belle was.”

Down the beach, Belle had finally had enough. She pushed Phillip away standing up brushing the sand off of
her.

“I love Shawn and you love Chloe. We shouldn’t be doing this,” Belle said.

“But what is the harm?”

“The harm is I don’t want to cheat on my boyfriend even if it is with you.”

“Belle, you know you want me.”

Finally having enough she slapped him across the face feeling like a strong woman that could take anyone
on at the moment.

“We are going to find the others and there is nothing you can say or do to stop me.”

She stomped off leaving Phillip sitting there pondering his choices. He had been crazy for Belle for years.
Now she was dating his best friend and he was in love with Chloe. What was it about Belle that made him
crumble? Would he be able to stop himself from trying to kiss her again?

Chapter Nine
“This place is a wreck,” Chloe stated standing in the middle of the cabin.

“Not what you are use to, can’t take it,” Brady replied jumping on the queen size bed that was on one side of
the cabin.

The bed with it’s one blanket on it was filled with dirt and once Brady jumped on it dust and dirt floated up
into the air. Garbage was spread out throughout the floor of the small cabin that only held a fire place, one
table with two chairs (one of which was missing a leg), and the bed.

Looking over to the fireplace Chloe noticed the rat running towards the bed where Brady laid with his arms
under his head staring at Chloe. Chloe quickly jumped up on the chair.

“Are you afraid of a little rat,” Brady asked laughing at Chloe.

“Not as much as you will be when you turn around and see that huge spider crawling towards you,” Chloe
screamed.

“What spider,” Brady shouted jumping up off the bed turning around to see no such spider.

“Fooled you,” Chloe giggled stepping down of the chair.

“That was not fair.”

“Payback for making me say those lies outside.”

Walking through the woods of the woods Belle moved her legs faster than she ever thought possible while
Phillip stayed back a few feet away from her his face still stinging for when she slapped him.

“Can we please stop and take a break,” Phillip wondered.

“You can stop but I am not. I have to find him,” Belle ordered going on.

“Belle, once we find Chloe and Shawn do you think that will make you forget what happened back there,”
Phillip wondered.

“What happened, Phillip Kiriakis, is your own fault? It will never be talked about again, you got that,” Belle
commanded walking back to Phillip pushing him down.

“I never knew you were so tough,” Phillip said.

“Something I learned from my father and Shawn, now get moving,” she ordered pointing towards the
direction they were headed.

About a hundred feet away Jan and Shawn were walking through the woods when Jan tripped.

“Are you okay,” Shawn said helping Jan.

“I think so,” she replied trying to walk. Once she took a couple steps she fell to the ground. “Shawn, I think I
twisted my ankle when I fell.”

“Let’s just sit down and rest for a bit.”

“Shawn, thank you,” she said moving closer to him once he sat down against one of the trees.

“No problem.”

“I mean it, Shawn. You have been so kind to me for so long. You are the only one I know that looks past my
bitchness and accepts me,” she commented reaching over to kiss him on the cheek but in an instant their
lips were touching when he turned his head to tell her something.

Where would this kiss lead? Would it continue? Was this Jan’s moment to shine?

Chapter Ten
Belle and Phillip had been walking for what seemed like hours and closing in on them were Shawn and Jan.

“I think we are going in circles,” Phillip stated.

“No, we are not,” Belle shouted.

“I remember that tree,” Phillip said.

“Phillip, will you shut up. There are trees all around us, why is that one look so similar.”

“Why don’t we go back to the beach?”

“Because I know there is something here,” Belle confirmed.

“Yes, trees and more trees!”

“Phillip, don’t make me hurt you.”

“You would love it and you know it.”

“That is not true. Look over there I think I see somebody,” Belle stated.

Over just a few feet away Shawn was walking towards Belle and Phillip with Jan dragging behind them.
Jan had to make her move once she caught the blond locks of her bitter enemy.

Jan grabbed Shawn’s arm turning him around locking her lips with his. He tried to fight it, but within
seconds he put his arms around her enjoying the feel of her lips on his.

“You bitch,” someone screamed tackling down both Shawn and Jan.

“Stay off of me you tramp,” Jan shouted pulling the blond locks turning her over punching her in the gut.

Phillip helped Shawn up off the ground and tried to separate the girls from fighting. Shawn grabbed Jan
while Phillip took Belle’s arms locking them behind her.

“Stop this,” Shawn ordered.

“She started it,” Jan snarled.

“Hello, who was kissing my boyfriend,” Belle retorted.

“It wasn’t what you think,” Shawn stated realizing he was caught.

“It looked like you were enjoying your self way to much,” Phillip replied.

“Stay out of this Phillip,” Shawn demanded.

“No, Phillip has a point, Shawn. You did look like you were enjoying yourself,” Belle yelled trying to get out
of Phillip’s hold. Belle finally kicked Phillip in the shin attacking Jan once more.

Pulling Jan’s hair hearing the brunette scream with agony. Belle pushed Shawn out of the way making him
fall back on the ground once again.

“You don’t want to mess with me,” Jan stated.

“Or what,” Belle replied punching Jan with a quick kick in the chin.

“Ahhhh,” Jan screamed feeling the agonizing pain in her face. “I don’t believe you did that.”

“Well then I guess you won’t believe this,” Belle said aiming for Jan’s arm when someone grabbed her’s from
behind. Turning around she caught the look of her angry brother.

“What is going on here,” Brady questioned.

“Your sister attacked me,” Jan shouted.

“She was kissing Shawn,” Belle said.

“Shawn,” Brady yelled.

“It wasn’t what you think,” Shawn mumbled knowing that Belle’s big brother would kick the living shit out
of him.

“It looked a lot more intense than Belle and my kiss,” Phillip spitted out.

“Phillip,” Belle shouted.

“What,” Shawn screamed.

Everyone looked at Belle with eyes of fury. What would Belle do now? Would Jan finally get what she
desired?

Chapter Eleven
“What did you say,” Chloe questioned.

“Phillip kissed me, but I decked him,” Belle rebuffed.

“You what,” Brady said.

“I decked him,” Belle replied.

“That was after the second kiss,” Phillip commented.

“The second kiss,” Shawn shouted punching Phillip.

“Shawn,” Jan screamed running to him.

“Phillip,” Chloe said running to him, but Brady grabbed her arm pulling her into his arms.

“You don’t understand, Shawn,” Belle told him.

“I don’t understand why you would try to beat Jan up for kissing me when you and Phillip did the same
thing,” Shawn replied with Jan examining him.

“You don’t understand,” Belle said.

“Shawn, leave her alone,” Brady ordered.

“This isn’t any of your business,” Phillip told Brady.

“It’s his sister,” Chloe aimed at Phillip.

“He wasn’t talking to you, Ghoul Girl,” Jan spit back.

“You little,” Chloe yelled running towards Jan.

Chloe grabbed Jan pulling the long hair which gave Belle an advantage. Belle took off grabbing Chloe’s arm
to let her have first rights on Jan, but Chloe came swinging her arm hitting Belle in the mouth.

“I don’t believe you did that,” Belle shouted at Chloe feeling the blood drip.

Jan knew this was her moment to shine. She attacked both Chloe and Belle at the same time. It become a
free for all with all three girls fighting with their fists.

“Knock it off,” Brady yelled grabbing Chloe.

“Leave your hands off of my girlfriend,” Phillip ordered.

“Why don’t you let Brady handle it,” Shawn told Phillip.

“Why don’t you shut up, Shawn,” Brady shouted.

Suddenly punches were going with jaws being hit by the men and the hair pulling by the women. All six of
the Salem residents were fighting in the mud from the rain. Who would be left standing? Who would survive?

Chapter Twelve
Several minutes had passed with the six teens of Salem fighting over their girlfriends/boyfriends and their
cheating hearts. Brady decked Phillip squarely in the jaw when Shawn elbowed Brady in the shoulder
making him fall to the ground. Then Phillip tripped Shawn making his face fall in the mud puddle.

The girls were not having as much luck either trying to stop the blood shed. Jan grabbed Chloe’s hair pulling
it yakking a piece of it out of her scalp. Belle stomped on Jan’s foot then kneeing her in the guy. Chloe then
pushed Belle down landing in the same puddle as Shawn. When they looked up in each other’s muddy faces
about to say something a gun shot rang out.

“Hold it,” the man yelled.

All of them turned around to see a man with a rifle pointing it at Jan.

“Anyone makes a move and she gets it,” the old man yelled. He had to be in his late ‘60’s with a minimal
amount of gray hair and a beard. His clothes were ragged and he was thin.

“Shoot her,” Belle mumbled wiping the mud off her face.

“How did you get here,” the old man asked.

Brady stood up being the oldest he knew he had to explain, “Our boat sank and we ended up here. We don’t
want any trouble, Mister.”

“I am surprised you didn’t drown out there,” the old man replied. “The name is Banning, Thomas Banning.”

“Is there a way off of this island,” Chloe wondered standing up with the rest of them.

“Do you think if there was I would let you know now that you found me,” he answered.

“We don’t mean any harm. We just want to go home,” Belle spoke up.

“It looked like it the way you were fighting,” he retorted. “Now let’s go before I regret finding you.”

“Please don’t hurt us,” Belle said.

“I will do no such thing if you listen to me,” Thomas Banning commented holding the rifle behind Belle’s
back who was walking behind the rest of the group.

“Can I ask where we are going,” Phillip wondered.

“Ask the those two,” Thomas Banning told him pointing the rifle at Chloe and Brady.

“The cabin,” Brady murmured.

“That is right,” he replied. “Now let’s go before this beauty gets it.”

All of them walked into the small cabin where Brady and Chloe had been earlier. Once they went inside
Thomas Banning tied them up together. Chloe is tied with Brady sitting on the dirty floor hands behind
each other while Phillip is tied with Belle sitting next to Chloe and Brady. Jan and Shawn were thrown on
the bed tied together.

“Now that you guys are all tied up I have work to do,” Thomas said shutting the door.

“What are we going to do,” Chloe asked.

“Ahhhh,” Belle screamed.

“What is it,” Phillip wondered.

“A rat. The rat is heading towards me,” Belle screamed.

“Quiet,” Brady told his sister.

“It is only a rat,” Jan spit out.

“No one was talking to you,” Chloe commented.

“Guys, don’t start this again,” Brady ordered.

“Brady is right. We need to find a way out of here then sit down and talk through this,” Shawn explained.

“I have nothing to say to you,” Belle told him looking him in the eye.

“Belle, we can’t let this ruin us,” Shawn replied.

“Not now,” Brady ordered once again.

Suddenly the door flew open with two more men standing in the door way. These men looked about twenty
years younger then Banning, and they looked more healthy.

“We were ordered by the boss to make sure you guys behave,” one of them said holding a gun out at them.

“Now to make sure you are quiet, we have a surprise,” the other said dumping out a basket with snakes in it.

The snakes began crawling towards the teens. What were they going to do? How would they survive?

Chapter Thirteen
“Belle, Belle, wake up,” Phillip said. “Guys, Belle passed out.”

“She hates snakes,” Shawn stated. “When we were five a found a garden snake and threw it at her and she
screamed and took off telling my mom. I was grounded for a week.”

“She hates rats also,” Brady said.

“What are we going to do,” Chloe wondered.

The men had left and Shawn couldn’t hear anything outside. He was now hoping someone had found out
about their trip.

“One of them is crawling on Belle,” Jan pointed out.

“Chloe, try to move a little to the left, I might be able to untie this knot,” Brady told her.

“Oh, Brady, a snake is crawling on my leg and I believe it is a rattlesnake,” Chloe mumbled trying not to
move.

Suddenly the door opened up and there stood someone that could save their lives.

“I knew I would find you,” she stated jumping over the snake.

“How did you find us,” Phillip asked.

“Belle’s cell phone,” she answered.

“Meems, you are a hero,” Shawn told her while she untied him.

“We need to get out of here now,” Brady said.

“Belle, wake up, sweetheart,” Shawn said taking her in his arms.

“Let her down slowly,” a man ordered.

“No,” Shawn rebuffed.

Suddenly a gun shots rang out a person falling to the ground with blood dripping from the wound while
everyone else hit the ground for cover. Who had survived? Who was shot?

Chapter Fourteen
“Is everyone okay,” Mimi asked sitting up. “Belle, Shawn, Phillip, anyone?”

Looking outside she caught her hero with a gun in his hand pointing it still at the door where the man once
stood.

“Are you okay,” he asked putting the gun down looking at his darling, Mimi.

“You will get your reward later, come on,” Mimi smiled waving him in to the disaster inside the cabin.

“Is anyone hurt,” he asked.

“What happened,” Chloe mumbled putting her hand on her head.

Shawn began to stir opening his eyes he felt Belle underneath him slurring. He moved off of her and
immediately he noticed the blood. Turning her around his hand on her shoulder his hand was covered in
blood - her blood.

“Belle, no,” Shawn whispered.

“Where did the bullet enter,” the man asked who saved their lives.

“KEVIN,” Shawn stated looking up finally noticing the man who saved their lives.

“I am a marksmen also, perfect aim,” Kevin replied sitting beside Shawn. “More of that later.

“Brady are you okay,” Mimi questioned putting her hand on his shoulder.

“Is everyone okay,” John Black questioned stepping over the dead man that laid in the doorway.

“Wow, Kevin, I guess you were right,” Bo stated walking in behind John. “We heard gunshots.”

“Dad, Tink was shot,” Brady told his father.

“How about you son,” Bo asked his son.

“I am fine, dad, just a bit shaken up,” Shawn answered looking up at his father.

“Here let me help you,” Mimi told Chloe.

The rest of the group had awaken standing up dusting themselves off except one other teen. It took a few
minutes to notice that one teen had not made any rude comments. Chloe looked around and could not see
her. As much as Chloe despised Jan, she was still a human being (well sort of).

“Anyone seen, Jan,” Chloe asked.

“Jan,” Shawn whispered never letting go of Belle.

Bo and Phillip began looking around for Jan Spears, the most hated teenager at Salem High when Phillip
caught a glimpse of the long brown locks of hers on the other side of the bed. Phillip rushed over to the other
side of the bed. Lifting up his head saying a silent prayer, he knew.

“I found Jan,” Phillip stated looking over into Shawn. Shawn knew by the look Phillip was giving him what
had happened to Jan.

“Oh god,” Chloe murmured seeing the Queen Bitch of Salem laying on the floor dead with two gunshots - one
to the heart and the other in the head.

“Shawn,” Belle slurred.

Shawn kissed Belle’s forehead his fingers running through the blond locks of hers that he loved so much.

“I am sorry for everything,” Shawn whispered.

“I love you,” Belle told him closing her eyes.

“Stay with us, Belle,” Kevin ordered. “It looks like the bullet went straight threw, but we do need to get her
out of here.”

“Thank you, Kevin,” Shawn said.

A week later at the funeral for a Salem High student, Shawn, Chloe, Phillip, Mimi, and Kevin were
standing there thinking of all the memories they had with the student that passed on.

“I don’t believe she is gone,” Shawn stated.

“At least we are here together saying goodbye,” Chloe replied.

“We had our bad moments, but she didn’t deserve this,” Mimi cried.

Chloe took the hand of the young man sitting next to her, who saved her life on the trip that almost cost her
life.

“I am sorry about what happened,” Phillip told Chloe walking up to her noticing her hands linked with
Brady’s.

“Phillip, this isn’t the place to discuss this,” Brady told Phillip.

“No, let me,” Chloe whispered. “During the trip a lot of things were said and done that none of us will ever
forget. I have come to realize that we are not right for each other, Phillip. You know that and I know that.
Please do not be upset, but we both need to move on.”

“I think you are right. If we were right for each other I would not have felt the urge to kiss Belle,” Phillip
explained. “I hope you and Brady are very happy together.”

“Did someone say my name,” the blond teen stated walking up to them.

“Belle, how long will you be in the sling,” Chloe asked.

“About another six weeks, Dr. Murphy told me. I am as good as new,” she answered a single tear falling.

“I want to apologize again for what happened on the island,” Phillip told Belle.

“Apology accepted, but the next time you decide to kiss someone make sure they are not already in love with
someone else,” Belle retorted.

“I love you too, Belle,” Shawn said wrapping his arms around her. “At least my dad wasn’t to upset with us
destroying his boat.”

“Well if you would have checked the weather before we left we would not have been in this mess,” Brady
explained.

“Guys, no fighting. Does Kevin and I always have to save your butts,” Mimi stated.

“Hey, Kevin, you are our hero,” Belle and Chloe said each kissing Kevin on his cheeks.

“That is what started this in the first place,” Shawn commented.

“Let’s get out of here, Lover boy,” Brady said.

The teens had lived through the fighting, the shooting, and the storm. The triangles had saved some
relationships and destroyed others. One teenager was died, but others had a new found hope in life. None of
them would be going back on a boat in the near future. The Bermuda Triangle had shallowed some lives up
and split some relationships, but it brought some together. Who knew they would survive?
